Branding to educate and inspire mobility.

In order to establish his life-long dream of owning his own business, Dr. Justus Kauffman found himself in need of a brand that could communicate his purpose: improve lives through improving mobility. He looked to Brain Sinew to capture his vision and launch a brand with his inspiring message.


Create a brand that reflects a unique mission: educate, train, and treat clients in order to promote overall health, freedom of movement, and setting the terms on which one lives for the community of Wichita, Kansas.


Craft a brand that strongly reflects Dr. Kauffman’s commitment to full-life living, with messaging that inspires and motivates clients to make positive changes for their individual health.

Auxoma Name

Auxoma’s mission is summed up in their name – from the roots of auxiliary which means “to help or support,” and soma which is Greek for “whole body.” Auxoma works to support its clients in achieving pain-free living with increased mobility throughout the whole body.


The logo depicts an individual who is moving freely and living a life without physical restrictions and limits, the very essence of the Auxoma brand.

Project Outcome

Motivating messaging for healthy choices and healthy living.

Working closely with Dr. Kauffman to understand his approach to chiropractic care, we developed the brand identity. Our team used messaging that empowers individuals to take control of their own health and well-being through exercise therapy, strength training, muscle manipulation, dry needling, and traditional chiropractic adjustments.

By improving one’s health and mobility, individuals will be able to live their lives to the fullest and without limitations. The brand’s visual language aids in communicating this conviction through a bright and optimistic color scheme and shapes that seem to flow with movement.

Working with Brain Sinew was crucial in starting my dream chiropractic practice, Auxoma. They helped bring my unique vision to life, creating a brand that accurately reflected my business’s core values and that would stand the test of time.
